Go Surf – Surfcamps around the world

Canary Islands (Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Gran Canaria)

Fuerteventura has something to offer all surfers, it is the ideal destination for a one-of-a-kind surfing holiday.

Here we have the new “Surf and Yoga apartments”, the latter, located in el Cotillo, all offer a sea view and are also suitable for families or small groups of friends. The Quiksilver Surfcamp in the north of Tenerife has a particular surf school: the teachers of our surf camp are part of a small group of elite sportsmen who have made their passion their profession.

Together they want to share their knowledge and experiences accumulated over more than 30 years of surfing. Thanks to its spectacular location directly on the beach and in the vicinity of numerous spots, the Gran Canaria surf camp is a real gem. Complete personal assistance and the infrastructure created especially for surfers make Surfcamp Gran Canaria the best surf house on the island.

Sardinia

The surf house in Sardinia is located in the picturesque seaside town of Buggerru, located only 300 meters from the sea and has all the comforts a surfer needs on vacation; double and triple rooms, a large TV area with wifi and an equipped kitchen always available to camp guests. In this splendid seaside resort in the South West of Sardinia you can find the relaxation you are looking for on holiday, away from the crowds, in an environment that will surprise you with its friendship and professionalism. Unforgettable surf spots can be found in the surroundings.

Caribbean

The Dominican Republic offers incredible white beaches, in the shade of coconut palms, the tropical climate throughout the year means that the conditions are always suitable for surfing and water sports, nature is carefully preserved: 1 / 3 of the state area is a national nature park.

The best surf spots are found along the North coast, the highest waves generally form between November and April, however the conditions for surfing are always good. In summer the waves are less high and powerful, therefore suitable for the first experiences on the surfboard.

Playa de Encuentro is the best known beach with various surf spots along its development suitable for beginners but also some such as Coco Pipe which takes the breath away of even the surf champions.

California

Our Camp, the Harbor Inn, is located in Dana Piont, a small town in Orange County near San Clemente. The best Surfspots in the surrounding area are 15 to 45 minutes from Camp. The fantastic atmosphere, the well-educated guides and the well-maintained Camp will remain in your memories for a long time.

Surfing belongs to California.

Come and enjoy great food and exciting trips to Los Angeles and San Diego. The Camp is only a 5-minute walk from the beach and the restaurant and surf shop area.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is also called the Switzerland of Central America, not only for the mountainous landscape, but also for the relative well-being and neutrality that the government has prescribed. Costa Rica, with its laid-back lifestyle, its reputation as a safe place and overwhelming nature attracts millions of visitors.

As you can already guess from the very name “rich coast”, there are few countries that offer such a diverse flora and fauna: the forests are teeming with howler monkeys and toucans that can be easily admired!

The waves are crazy, the beauty of the place is breathtaking and the lifestyle tempting. A peaceful oasis in the middle of one of the wildest regions on earth. Surfing on the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica means encountering numerous points and beachbreaks, which offer the best conditions for the most varied surfing levels.

The geography of Costa Rica means that for several months of the year offshore winds blow, which generate particularly beautiful waves. Surfing in Santa Teresa Mal País is really suitable for everyone: no matter if you are beginner or advanced, in these fantastic beachbreaks every surfer will find his perfect wave. The best conditions here occur when the storm is small or medium or at low tide.

Morocco

Morocco is a country that has a lot to offer. It is located in North West Africa and is only a few kilometers from the European continent. Morocco is lapped by both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The surf hotspot is Taghazout, a small fishing village in southern Morocco. It is located 19 km north of Agadir and 153 km from Essaouira.

In Morocco, the perfect conditions for surfing occur especially during the autumn period in Europe. Well designed and long waves, world-known pointbreaks such as Hash Point, Anchor Point or Killer Point bring surfers from all over the world to Morocco. The union with African culture and temperatures above 20 degrees make Morocco the ideal destination for surfing during the winter months.

Morocco is a popular destination not only for advanced surfers; more and more beginners are discovering the advantages of a surf course in Morocco. The weather is nice and warm, the instructors know the local waves very well and individually lead students to the most suitable spots for them according to the level.
